I am a huge fan of the Villa line and was excited to see this mid-rise version of their pants.  The waist band is smaller than the traditional Villa Wideleg.  Note that this fabric is a lightweight drapey fabric perfect for warm weather.  It is not a peached sweatpant fleece like fabric.  I have a 31.5" inseem and often need to order long or tall versions of pants.  The regular length is perfect assuming that I will wear them with cushioned athletic shoes or a sandal with a platform. Fortunately this pant is offered in short, regular and tall.
