Love the pocket! Perfect for my iPhone.
Prior to wearing these, I was a little worried about the lack of normal pockets based on other reviews. So I bought them primarily for gym workouts where I don't need pockets -- and they've been great for this. I've also been pleasantly surprised at the utility of the 1 small pocket these shorts do have. I volunteer coach kids soccer and need to have my iPhone on me during practices but also need to able to run around. With deeper pockets of other shorts, this is a problem as the phone bounces around and I end up just holding it in my hand. With these shorts, the phone (normal iPhone 14) fits perfectly and stays still when I run. I also play a lot of tennis. While these aren't ideal for holding tennis balls due to the zipper and size and place, they work well enough for holding 1 ball.

Good shorts for a workout
Like the shorts, they run a little slimmer than other styles. No side pockets was a bit dissapointing (just one side/back zip pocket). I use them primarily for workouts or doing stuff around the house. Great shorts, just know they don't have all of the pockets that the styles do.

Fit and fabric great....just wish there were more pockets
I usually just assume shorts will have more than one tiny pocket...but not in this case. I know some probably prefer this for working out, but I wear these for leisure too. Nonetheless, like all of their shorts - fit and comfort are both great.
