A Letter from our CEO Regarding COVID-19
To the Vuori Family,
Like the rest of the nation we have been watching the developments of the COVID-19 situation unfold and have largely shifted our focus to how we can contribute to the solution for our community, the nation and the globe.
One of our primary values as an organization is our 'Investment in Happiness' philosophy on doing business. This guiding principle is aimed to keep us aligned as a team and focused on what is truly important, especially in challenging times like these. In the spirit of this ethos we are prioritizing the health and happiness of our employees and customers, and have decided to implement a work from home policy and have temporarily closed all Vuori stores and halted all community events to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are monitoring the situation closely and promise to reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
While our stores are closed, our online business will continue shipping orders with no break in service or delays and we are working to identify new ways of connecting with our community. Every morning we will be hosting free yoga, bootcamp and mindfulness classes on Instagram Live (@vuoriclothing) with some of our favorite local teachers, which we hope will inspire you to keep your body moving and possibly even try something new like breath work, a practice that has brought a lot of peace and clarity to my life.
We have a tagline that you may have seen floating around #THERISETHESHINE. At its core is a message of maintaining momentum in your life when obstacles and challenges present themselves. We may not have a choice about how COVID-19 spreads across the world, but we are in control of how we respond, hopefully prioritizing decisions that bring us happiness and reconnect us with what is truly important in life, slowing down, spending time with family and appreciating all the gifts that surround us.
If you need anything, please reach out to our team anytime at email@example.com.
We appreciate all of your support and wish you and your family good health during these extraordinary times.
Joe Kudla, CEO of Vuori
